Four Days at bauma CONEXPO INDIA: What Techwell Brought

From September 15–18, Techwell was at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida for bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026, one of South Asia’s largest construction equipment trade shows.

This year’s show brought together more than 1,100 exhibitors and was expected to welcome over 75,000 visitors from more than 100 countries.

Our team arrived a few days early to get everything ready. But we weren’t there just to display products. We brought complete wireless control solutions for concrete pumps, cranes, aerial work platforms, and more.

What We Brought to India

Techwell has been building industrial wireless remote control systems for more than 20 years. At this year’s show, we focused on four key areas.

Concrete pump remote control systems
Our systems can work with electro-hydraulic proportional valves used on equipment from SANY, Zoomlion, Putzmeister, Schwing, and other manufacturers.

Crane and truck-mounted crane control
Solutions for different lifting capacities, machine configurations, and operating conditions.

Aerial work platform controls
Remote control solutions for both OEM applications and customized projects.

Complete system integration
From key components to a complete wireless control system, we can support the full project—not just supply a single product.

Techwell solutions are backed by CE and ISO 9001 certifications and use frequency-hopping spread spectrum technology for reliable operation in demanding RF environments.

Our systems are already used by major equipment manufacturers including XCMG and Zoomlion, as well as on job sites across Europe, Asia, and Africa.

We also support remote-control and automation retrofits for existing equipment. For many machines, adding wireless control can reduce the need for an operator to stay close to hazardous working areas while making the job easier and safer.

The Three Questions We Heard Most in India

After four days of talking with customers, three questions came up again and again.

1. “Can it work with my equipment?”

This was probably the biggest one.

India has a huge installed base of equipment from China, Europe, Japan, and other markets, including plenty of older and second-hand machines.

For customers, compatibility matters more than a long list of specifications.

That is where experience helps.

After more than 20 years in industrial wireless control, Techwell now has 9 product series and 45 models, covering construction machinery, cranes, logistics equipment, municipal vehicles, oil and gas, offshore applications, bridges and tunnels, mining, firefighting, and other industries.

We have also developed more than 1,000 customized solutions for different machines and applications.

2. “If something goes wrong, how quickly can I get support?”

This question came up almost as often as compatibility.

Many construction sites in India are far from major cities. When a machine is down, every day matters.

Customers wanted to know where spare parts would come from, how quickly support could respond, and how soon replacement parts could arrive.

In many conversations, those questions mattered more than maximum transmission range.

That told us something important: customers aren’t only buying a remote control. They’re looking for a supplier they can rely on after the installation.

3. “How fast can you deliver?”

India’s infrastructure market is moving quickly, and project schedules are getting tighter.

For the 2026–27 fiscal year, India’s federal public capital expenditure is expected to reach around ₹12.2 trillion.

That means equipment suppliers are under pressure to deliver faster as well.

For Techwell, flexible production and shorter lead times became a real advantage in many of our conversations at the show.

HyBiz TV Stopped by Our Booth

During the exhibition, the team from Indian business media outlet HyBiz TV visited our booth and interviewed Techwell Sales Engineer Bella.

HyBiz TV is based in Hyderabad and covers business news, trade shows, and entrepreneur interviews. Its YouTube channel has more than half a million subscribers, and its team was on site throughout the show speaking with exhibitors.

The main question they had for Bella was simple:

What can a Chinese industrial remote control company actually offer customers in India?

Her answer came down to three things.

First, the system has to work with local equipment and real operating conditions.

Second, the technology has to be proven in actual production equipment—not just in a lab.

And third, Techwell is looking for long-term partners in India, not one-time sales.

Bella walked through our products, certifications, and real-world applications, and also explained that we are actively looking for local distributors and partners in the Indian market.

For us, the interview wasn’t just about media exposure.

It was another sign that more people in India are taking a closer look at what Chinese industrial control brands can actually do—not simply judging them on price.

What Gives Us Confidence

Earlier this year, we were at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas.

In May, a Techwell remote control system was also used during the transport operation for China’s Long March 10B rocket.

Around the same time, the XCMG DG101, known as Asia’s tallest aerial firefighting platform, was operating with a Techwell remote control system.

Applications like rocket transport demand an extremely high level of reliability and resistance to interference.

That kind of experience gives us confidence when we bring the same core technology into concrete pumps, cranes, aerial work platforms, and other heavy equipment.
